Hello again everyone, and welcome back to another packed month, full of releases where you can make plenty of money. There’s no time to waste, so let’s get straight to it!

Kicking off the month, it’s a classic Jordan 1 release. However, even though I always say the best sizes for Jordan 1s for resale are 7-9.5, it is a bit different for women’s releases. As seen before in the Jordan 1 Blue Chilli (W) release, the bigger the size of the women’s shoe, the better the resale value. This is due to male sneaker collectors wanting to be able to wear these shoes. This classic black and white colourway will definitely be a hit when the release on May 7th, and sales from the EU release (which took place in late April) are already looking nice.

Probably one of the most anticipated shoes of the whole year, after the release being delayed multiple times, there is finally a set release date. After 2 shock drops on Nike SNKRS and on travisscott.com, the presale prices of these unique shoes are around $1500. This dark brown/green Jordan 1, featuring a special reverse swoosh will definitely be one of the contenders for shoe of the year. Expect stock to be quite limited, so make sure to sign up for as many raffles as possible. A more low-key release than the Travis Scott Jordan 1s, however do not sleep on these futuristic shoes. So far, they are only confirmed to release at Dover Street Market, and if they stay exclusive to DSM, expect prices to rise even more. There are already bids reaching over $900 on StockX, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for this release. It’s shoes like this that allow some entrepreneurs to profit big on kicks.

4. Nike Air Jordan 1 Crimson Tint -Release date Thurday May 16th 2019

Retail: $160

Peak Resell: $250

Potential Profit: $90

Now something for our EU readers. This pink Jordan 1 will be coming to select EU stores on the 16th of May, however most of these stores will ship to the US, so make sure to wake up early for those 8AM GMT drops! As this is a normal Jordan 1, not a woman’s silhouette, the best sizes for resell will be 7-9.5. For our EU readers, make sure to call your local stores and ask to see if they will be in store first come first served.

5. Nike x Sacai LDWaffle Release date: Thursday May 16th 2019

Retail: $155

Peak Resell: $950

Potential Profit: $795

Contenders for sneaker of the year, Japanese fashion brand Sacai are collaborating with Nike to release 2 different silhouettes with 2 different colourways for each (4 shoes in total in the collection). This is another release that Nike has delayed for months, as the Waffles were meant to release back in February, but it was pushed to May 2019. Recently, on May 6, Nike announced that the waffles will drop on Thursday the 16th of May. Hypebeasts and sneakerheads worldwide are going crazy for these shoes, so when they do eventually release, expect them to be sold out in a flash.

6. Nike x Fear of God Raid Black – Release date Friday May 17th 2019

Retail: $190

Peak Resell: $350

Potential Profit: $160

After a successful release of the ‘Raid’ silhouette in Light Bone in April, I am certain that this colourway will perform as well if not better in the resale market. These will be released alongside the Fear of God Moccasins, but I do not recommend going for the Mocs, as they can be found for under retail in the light bone colourway only a few days after release.

7. Nike x Air Jordan Retro IV 5 x Trophy Room “Ice Blue” – Release date Saturday May 18th 2019

Retail: $200

Peak Resell: $600

Potential Profit: $400

It’s a little known fact that Michael Jordan has a son, Marcus, who played basketball at University of Central Florida from 2009-2012.

Knowing that he couldn’t live up to par with his father’s greatness on the court, he decided to go the business route instead: he opened up the store Trophy Room in Florida in 2016, and it’s since released some of the most coveted and glorious Jordans to date, which have inspiration in the actual room of trophies that the elder Jordan had that Marcus remembered.

The Retro 5 “Trophy Rooms” are set to drop online at a quantity of just 7000, making them go for about triple the retail price in the “Ice Blue” colorway.

The red Friends & Family version will likely go for sale in well into the thousands of dollars as there will only be 223 pairs of them made.

8. Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Glow in the Dark – Release date Saturday May 25th 2019

Retail: $250

Peak Resell: $500

Potential Profit: $250

Kanye West continues to pump out more and more Yeezys this year, and this ‘Glow in the Dark’ release is certain to be one of the best of the year. Even at a slightly higher price point than usual, there is definitely going to be a lot of money to be made on these sneakers. Like usual, bae (4-6.5) sizes will do the best, along with bigfoot sizes (15+), but all sizes should definitely sell well.

9. Nike x Air Jordan 1 SB Laker and Bone (2 colorways) -Release date Saturday May 25th 2019

Retail: $175

Peak Resell: $600/400 (laker/bone)

Potential Profit: $425/225

On the 25th of May, Jordan brand will collaborate with Nike SB to release two new colourways of the Jordan 1 SB. This silhouette is not released too often, and these two will definitely be in demand. Early bids for the Laker colourway are hitting over $700 already! Make sure to check your local skate shops for information on how to cop these shoes.

10. Nike Adapt BB “Wolf Grey” (Air Mag)- Release date Wednesday, May 29th

Potential Profit: $650

Somewhat of a surprise drop announced just a week before its release date, the Nike Adapt is coming out in the spitting image of the five figure Air Mag.

Although prices won’t be quite as astronomical as its predecessor, these kicks will certainly go down as one of the most iconic of 2019 and are expected to resell for around $1000 given limited numbers.

11. Nike x Sacai Blazer Mid- Release date Thursday, May 30th

Retail: $140

Peak Resell: $800 (waffle/blazer)

Potential Profit: $760

Maybe the hottest sneaker of the month, May is set to end with a bang with these Nike x Sacai Blazer Mid. These kicks do perhaps the best take on a modified side swoosh, which is a recent trend in hype shoes like the Travis Scott Jordan 1’s & AF mids, and all Off-White Nike’s.

You’ll have two chances of copping these, they drop in 2 colors: Varsity Maize/Midnight Navy/White/Varsity Red and Black/University Blue-Sail-White.

The blue colorway is likely to be more the more popular, especially on foot.

Another great month of sneaker releases is coming up, make sure to save up your money so you can cop as many of these releases as possible.

If you managed to buy one of each shoe from this list, it would cost you $2000, but it would return you around $7600! This would be around $5600 in pure profit!
